This luxury tour is a perfect introduction to Botswana’s spectacular Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park, both of which offer some of the best safari experiences in Africa.
Begin with a stay at a luxury camp in Chobe National Park, a region known for large groups of elephants and lions, as well as hyenas, leopards, wild dogs and other wildlife. During lodge-based game viewing experiences, opt for walking safaris, boat safaris (seasonal) and/or game drives in four-wheel drive safari vehicles. During leisure time at the camp, relax at the camp’s lounge, which overlooks a watering hole that animals and a wide range of birds frequent.
Continue to a luxury safari camp in the Okavango Delta, a vast wetlands system that supports a wide range of animals, including the Big Five (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and Cape buffaloes). Embark on exciting game drives in an open vehicle or motorboat (seasonal) at dawn and dusk, the prime feeding times for many animals. Look for charismatic animals and birds, such as elephants, crocodiles, hippos, warthogs, bee-eaters and rollers. Enjoy unique sundowner drinks in the middle of the bush, as well as seasonal journeys along the waterways by mokoro, the traditional flat-bottom boat of the region (seasonal). When not enjoying a game drive or walking safari, relax on your private veranda with unforgettable views of the winding waterways and grasslands of the region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Return to Maun, where you will be assisted to your onward flight.
